How to wire Electroneum (ETN) from your paper wallet to an exchange

Electroneum was launched beginning of November and is a new mineable Cryptonight coin!

I recently learned that many people are struggling with sending the newly mined/bought Electroneum Coins to an exchange. Below you can find a detailed guide which should not take more than 10 minutes and will help you to access your funds and wire them to an exchange.

The Project Main Page: https://electroneum.com

1. Create a paper Wallet:
Browse to https://downloads.electroneum.com and click either on "Browser Version" or     "Download Zip" depending on what you prefer. You can now start mining to this address.

2. Download the ETN Client
Browse to the ETN Github Repository https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/releases and choose download the package which corresponds to your operating system. Extract the archive and copy it to a folder that is easily accessible (e.g. Mining/ETN Client)

3. Sync your local copy with the ETN network
Open the Command Line Window of your choice (e.g. Windows : CMD / Mac: Terminal) browse to the directory where you unpacked the Client (Mining/ETN Client) and start syncing your local ETN ledger with the network by typing the following command:

./electroneumd

This will take a while - you can need to leave the window open. Once it fully synchronised you will see the following message:

4. Get your current Wallet Balance
Open a second Command Line Window (Important: Leave the first one open and running!) and type in the following command:

./electroneum-wallet-cli --wallet-file <Your Wallet>.etn

You need to replace the <Your Wallet> variable with a wallet name of your choice, for example MyETNWallet. You will now be prompted to provide the keys from your paper wallet. After providing all the details your wallet will sync and by typing balance you can see your current balance. See an example below:

5. Wire ETN to an exchange of your choice
Type in the following command to wire your funds:

transfer    normal <Address>  <Amount> <Payment ID>

This will transfer the Amount of your choice to the desired address with normal priority. The Payment ID is not always required - the deposit details at the exchange will provide you with an ID if it is necessary.

BTCZ saw a fair lunch with no ICO, no pre-mine, no fixed Dev Fee.

Before getting into details - the most remarkable property of BTCZ is the decentralisation and community effort!

There is no Main Webpage but you can find the White paper here: https://bitcoinz.global/media/Community_Paper_Final.pdf
